Many industrially manufactured products undergo multiple production steps. This requires films to protect the semi-finished product. However, silicone-coated films cannot be used in some of these processes due to the risk of unwanted silicone contamination, which could adversely affect the product’s performance and suitability.
In such cases, a solution is to use films with a highly textured surface—specifically, embossed films. The textured surface reduces the contact area, thereby creating a release effect.
These films can range from mono-films and polymer blends to technically sophisticated multilayer films.
We offer a wide variety of embossing designs and depths for the surface structure. The use of customer-specific embossing designs is also possible.
